Mt. Zion offers Children's programs for all ages!
|
 |
KIDZONE
is a fast-paced ministry featuring music, drama, media, skits, games and
small groups. It takes place at 9:15 AM during the Adult Sunday School hour
and during the 10:45 service. |

A Saturday
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP helps children study the Bible and apply it to their
lives during the 5:30 PM worship hour. The children see that scripture is relevant to their needs
today. The classes include a prayer time and projects. Our offering
is used to support a boy and girl through Compassion International. The
first Sunday of every month we have a very exciting "Mission Minded Kids" where the children participate in various simulations of being a
missionary. |
The NURSERY or
"ARK PARK" provides a safe and pleasant atmosphere for newborn through
pre-kindergarten children while their parents are attending classes and
worship. The children are nurtured and cared for by loving parents who
volunteer their time on a scheduled basis. |

TRAILBLAZERS
is a ministry to our children from kindergarten through the sixth grade.
They meet on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 PM, for Bible Study and Special
Interest
Groups (September through April).
They go on retreats, have socials, hayrides, lock-ins, and do service
projects. |

MIDWEEK MORNING OUT (MMO) is an outreach ministry of Mt. Zion Church to
families with young children. Our desire is to encourage and support
stay-at-home parents. Families in our program are from Mt. Zion Church as
well as from the surrounding communities. Teachers focus on helping
children develop socially, emotionally, and spiritually while they enjoy a
loving Christian play group. Daily activities include learning centers,
stories, crafts, muscle time (whether indoors in the gym or outside on the
playground), and free-play. It is open to all children ages 6
months old through 6 years old. For more information you can view a "pdf"
version of our brochure here or
call the church office at 426-0814. |

REDUCING THE RISK
Mt. Zion is committed to providing the safest environment for our
children and teens. Our child protection policy includes training,
screening, and an interview with every person who works in the children's
and youth ministries. For upcoming training sessions, please contact the
church office. |
