| Matt 28:19, "Go, ye, therefore and make disciples of all nations..." Mount Zion supports three different types of missions, local missions, national missions, and international missions. Local missions serve our community, reaching out to those in need in the Miami Valley by offering spiritual sustenance and encouragement as well as meeting many physical needs such as food, transportation and financial assistance. National missions focus on those areas in the United States that help spread the gospel to those who are in need, physically, financially and emotionally. Mount Zion supports a variety of national missions focusing on different areas of service, renewal and evangelism.
Past short term mission trips:
The mission trip to Haiti focused on helping with construction at an orphanage and sharing the gospel with the children living at the facility. Senior High mission trips have traveled to Native American reservations and inner city projects, sharing the gospel, conducting Bible schools, helping with construction projects, and street evangelism. Those members participating in the Thailand mission trip worked to build a church in a small community.
