Dr. K. Lawrence Stroble
Senior Pastor
| Our Senior Pastor is the Dr. K. Lawrence
Stroble. He came to Mt. Zion in October, 1981 from Trinity UCC in
Cincinnati where he served as the Assistant Minister in charge of Youth
and Christian Education. Larry served at Trinity for five years. He is a
graduate of the University of Connecticut where he majored in Economics
(1972) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton,
Massachusetts where he graduated in 1976 with his Master of Divinity
Degree. In 1992, he completed his Doctor of Ministry Degree at Fuller
Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California with an emphasis in Church
Growth and Small Group Ministry.
Larry grew up in Plainville, Connecticut and married his wife, Lynne
who is from Sewickley, Pennsylvania, a graduate of Penn State University
(1972) and the University of Pennsylvania in 1974. She is an Occupational
Therapist and together they have three sons, David, Andrew, and Nathan.
