Interrupted lives, when life doesn’t always go as we planned, is something we can all relate to. Join Mt. Zion’s Monday Evening Ladies’ Bible Study for a study of Jonah and how his life was interrupted and how he learned that yielding to God is the best decision after all. All ladies are welcome to join us for Bible study, prayer and fellowship.

Where: Mt. Zion Church Gym
“Slaying the Giants in Your Life”
They cast their long shadow over everything we aspire to do, every new land we seek to inhabit, every dream we hope to pursue. Today we’d call them bullies, but they’re the same old giants, and they have us intimidated in the same old way: Fear. Discouragement. Loneliness. Worry. Guilt. Temptation. Anger. Resentment. Doubt. Procrastination. Failure. Jealousy. Which giant is intimidating you? Perhaps fear has your number. Maybe loneliness has you locked out. Whichever giant may be bullying you, we encourage you to join us for this study as we learn that God has the strength to bring us victory!

GriefShare is a 13-week grief and recovery support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. That’s the reason for GriefShare! This group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult journey.
Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion. A GriefShare workbook assists you with note-taking, journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic reenactments about living with grief and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. During the small group discussion time, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and share your own.
Our prayer is that you will find comfort, support, understanding, and encouragement during this season of grief. If you are interested in being a part of GriefShare, please contact the Church Office (426.0814) to see when the next session will be held., 10 AM

The purpose of the Traveling Tea Party is to show our shut-ins, lonely members, or those unable to attend for a season, the love of God! Contact the Church Office (426.0814) for info on how you can be a part of this ministry.
