Join us for this 7-week video-based series through Francis Chan’s book, Forgotten God. This study will remind us of the true source of the church’s power – the Holy Spirit. Chan contends that we’ve ignored the Spirit for far too long, and that without Him, we operate in our own strength, only accomplishing human-sized results.
Childcare is available at the church, and a workbook will be provided for each family.

“Slaying the Giants in Your Life”
They cast their long shadow over everything we aspire to do, every new land we seek to inhabit, every dream we hope to pursue. Today we’d call them bullies, but they’re the same old giants, and they have us intimidated in the same old way: Fear. Discouragement. Loneliness. Worry. Guilt. Temptation. Anger. Resentment. Doubt. Procrastination. Failure. Jealousy. Which giant is intimidating you? Perhaps fear has your number. Maybe loneliness has you locked out. Whichever giant may be bullying you, we encourage you to join us for this study as we learn that God has the strength to bring us victory!

When: First Thursday of the month, 6:30 PM-8:30 PM (Next Meeting – March 5)

The Women’s Book Club is for those who love to curl up with a good book and who would enjoy discussing what they’ve read with others. This is a great way to get to know other ladies who share the love of reading. All we ask is that each participant read the book selection for the month and then join us for lively discussion on the first Thursday of the month.
The March Book of the Month is “The Ninth Witness.”
*We will also be discussing our February Book of the Month “The Screwtape Letters” by C. S. Lewis as our last meeting was cancelled due to weather.
When: Monday, March 16
Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Rd. Beavercreek 45440)

GriefShare is a 13-week grief and recovery support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. That’s the reason for GriefShare! This group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult journey.
Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion. A GriefShare workbook assists you with note-taking, journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic reenactments about living with grief and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. During the small group discussion time, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and share your own.
Our prayer is that you will find comfort, support, understanding, and encouragement during this season of grief. If you are interested in being a part of GriefShare, please contact the Church Office (426.0814) to see when the next session will be held., 10 AM

Join us for fellowship as we work on service projects for Unto, a ministry that expresses the kindness of Jesus through humanitarian aid – by relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope to people living in the toughest places on earth. To help support their mission, we will be working on quilt tops and LuoPads that will be given to the Unto Distribution Center. This is a drop-in activity, so come at whatever time works for you. Bring lunch if you can stay the entire time. Items you might bring: rotary cutter, cutting board, scissors, portable sewing machine, pins, gallon Ziploc bags.
The purpose of the Traveling Tea Party is to show our shut-ins, lonely members, or those unable to attend for a season, the love of God! Participants will receive training to learn more about this wonderful, easy ministry opportunity. You will bring joy to others as your own heart is blessed! Contact the Church Office (426.0814) for info on how you can be a part of this ministry.
