BIBLE STUDIES & SMALL GROUPS

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY: “WHY I BELIEVE”
When: Mondays, September 12-October 31, 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
Where: Group leaders’ home

Scripture calls Christians to “be prepared” to give answers to anyone who asks about their faith. Are you prepared? Or do you feel ill-equipped? The facts of the resurrection, the reliability of the Bible, and the evidence for creation – all have solid proofs that you, your children, your grandchildren, and your friends can understand and share with anyone seeking hope. Equipping you and giving you confidence is why pastor and Bible teacher Chip Ingram created this Bible Study.

This small group will include time to get acquainted with members of the group, fellowship, discussion of material, prayer, and a service project. Space is limited. Please sign up at the Welcome Center or email info@mountzionchurch.org by Sunday, September 4 to receive more details about the study.

WOMEN’S STUDY: “ONE IN A MILLON: JOURNEY TO YOUR PROMISED LAND”
When: Mondays, October 10-November 28, 7:00 PM-9:00 PM
Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek 45440)

The Egyptians in Exodus 1 were intent on enslaving the Israelites, wearing them down so that God’s chosen people would become disillusioned and not live up to their destiny. Of the original two million Israelites who received God’s invitation to enter the Promised Land, only two actually entered it!

Similarly, modern day Christians often hear and understand the promises of God each Sunday morning at church but then rarely choose to experience them in everyday life. In One in a Million, Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer invites us to change that pattern for good, living beyond our circumstances and expecting to see God move in miraculous ways day after day. Without a doubt, we can find and follow God’s purpose for our journey. We can make it to the Promised Land!
