Zion offers numerous BIBLE STUDIES, SMALL GROUPS & MINISTRY GROUPS that offer a great opportunity to form close-knit relationships with others as we grow in our journeys with Jesus together. Scroll below for a list of groups where you can get connected and join a group today!

BIBLE STUDIES & SMALL GROUPS

WORSHIP SERVICE CONFERENCE CALL GROUP
When: Mondays @ 10:00 AM

Every Monday, this group gets together on a phone conference call to listen to the audio from our Sunday morning worship service. After they listen to the service, they enjoy fellowship, laughter, and a time of prayer together. All you need is a phone to be in this group! Contact info@mountzionchurch.org if you have any questions, and to receive the phone number to call in and get connected to this small group.

LADIES’ EVENING BIBLE STUDY: ELIJAH – FAITH AND FIRE
When: Mondays, 7:00 PM-9:00 PM
Where: Mt. Zion Church

Ladies, you are invited to join Mt. Zion’s Monday Night Ladies’ Bible Study as we study Elijah – Faith and Fire by Priscilla Shirer. We will join Priscilla on a 7-session journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDY: UNSHAKABLE HOPE
When: Sundays, 10:10 AM-10:50 AM
Where: Mt. Zion Chapel

This 12-week Bible study of Max Lucado’s Unshakable Hope will help us stand on the definitive declarations of our mighty and loving God who governs the world according to his great and precious promises. There are things in our world that seem unsteady but when we belong to God, it allows us to filter our problems through HIS PROMISES. When we choose to be “people of the promise,” we choose to build our lives on the promises of God, not the circumstances of life.

SMALL GROUP: THE POWER OF JESUS’ NAME
Wednesdays, beginning March 10
6:30 PM via Zoom
This group is at maximum capacity.

Some names live in infamy, and some names inspire the greatest kinds of hope. But there is one name above all other names, and it belongs to the Son of God, Jesus. Jesus is the most unique person who’s ever lived, and his names carry with them great weight.

LADIES’ MORNING BIBLE STUDY: BOOK OF REVELATION
When: Thursdays, 10:00 AM-NOON
Where: Mt. Zion Chapel

Bring your Bible and come fellowship with our Thursday morning Women’s Bible Study as we journey though the Book of Revelation together.

SMALL GROUP: WALKING WITH GOD IN THE DESERT
When: Thursdays, beginning April 8, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Where: Mt. Zion Church

Are you going through a difficult period of life? The loss of a loved one? Unemployment? A crisis of faith? During those times, it’s easy to think God has disappeared. Instead, join us on Thursdays, beginning April 8, at Mt. Zion where we will discover together that it’s only when we are totally dependent on Him that we find Him closer than ever and can experience God’s amazing grace and provision.

WOMEN’S BOOK CLUB
When: Next Meeting – TBA

The Women’s Book Club is for those who love to curl up with a good book and who would enjoy discussing what they’ve read with others. This is a great way to get to know other ladies who share the love of reading. All we ask is that each participant read the book selection for the month and then join us for lively discussion.

CARING CARD MINISTRY

Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Rd. Beavercreek 45440)

Interested in being crafty with a purpose? The Caring Card Ministry makes handmade cards to encourage and bless others. No experience necessary.

PIECEMAKERS (Quilting/Sewing Group)
When: Next Meeting – TBA
Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Rd. Beavercreek 45440)

Join us for fellowship as we work on service projects for Unto, a ministry that expresses the kindness of Jesus through humanitarian aid – by relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope to people living in the toughest places on earth. To help support their mission, we will be working on quilt tops and LuoPads that will be given to the Unto Distribution Center. This is a drop-in activity, so come at whatever time works for you. Bring lunch if you can stay the entire time. Items you might bring: rotary cutter, cutting board, scissors, portable sewing machine, pins, gallon Ziploc bags.

TRAVELING TEA PARTY
The purpose of the Traveling Tea Party is to show our shut-ins, lonely members, or those unable to attend for a season, the love of God! Participants will receive training to learn more about this wonderful, easy ministry opportunity. You will bring joy to others as your own heart is blessed! Contact the Church Office (426.0814) for info on how you can be a part of this ministry.
