BIBLE STUDIES & SMALL GROUPS

WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY
When: Wednesdays, beginning February 1, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Where: Group member’s home

Ladies, you are invited to take a deep dive into Hebrews chapters 1-7 in a nine-week study of Jesus: True and Better. We will be “piloting” this study for Dayton Women in the Word, meaning we will have the unique opportunity to provide feedback directly to the ministry so future groups can benefit from our experience. If you plan to attend, please sign up at the Welcome Center on Sundays, or email info@mountzionchurch.org.

THURSDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
When: Thursdays, 10:00 AM-NOON
Where: Mt. Zion Library

Bring your Bible and come fellowship as we journey through a study of the prophet Malachi, followed by a study of the Gospel of Luke.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
When: Thursdays, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Rd. 45440)

Come as you are able and join us for a time of fellowship, snacks, a topical Bible study, and prayer.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

“THE JESUS YOU MAY NOT KNOW” STUDY
When: Sundays, 9:00 AM-9:50 AM
Where: Mt. Zion Chapel

Join the Adult Sunday School Class as we take a journey from knowing ABOUT Jesus to KNOWING Jesus…personally, intimately, fully. In this study, Dr. David Jeremiah teaches us about the very heart of Christ — not through a storybook of His life, but through an astonishing exploration of His character, His attributes, His spirit.

MINISTRY GROUPS

MTZ YOUNG ADULTS
When: Sunday, February 12

Mt. Zion’s Young Adult Ministry is a place where college students and 20-somethings can share Jesus, grow, and serve together. Join us on Sunday, February 12, immediately following worship as we head to the slopes of Mad River Mountain for some snow tubing. We will carpool from MTZ and eat lunch on the way. Be sure to bring warm clothes/boots to church with you that day. For more info, email mtzyoungadults@mountzionchurch.org.

WOMEN’S BOOK CLUB
When: Thursday, February 2, 6:00 PM
Where: Church Library

The Women’s Book Club is for those who love to curl up with a good book and who would enjoy discussing what they’ve read with others. This is a great way to get to know other ladies who share the love of reading. All we ask is that each participant read the book selection for the month and then join us for lively discussion on the first Thursday of the month.

The February Book of the Month is The Insanity of God by Nik Ripken.

CARING CARD MINISTRY
When: Next meeting – TBA
Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Rd. Beavercreek 45440)

Interested in being crafty with a purpose? The Caring Card Ministry makes handmade cards to encourage and bless others. No experience necessary.

This group for seniors meets regularly for lunch at the church and at a variety of other locations to share a meal and fellowship. The date for our next lunch will be announced soon.
