MINISTRY GROUPS

WOMEN’S BOOK CLUB
When: Thursday, July 1, 6:00 PM
Where: Mt. Zion Church

The Women’s Book Club is for those who love to curl up with a good book and who would enjoy discussing what they’ve read with others. This is a great way to get to know other ladies who share the love of reading. All we ask is that each participant read the book selection for the month and then join us for lively discussion on the first Thursday of the month. The July Book of the Month is This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti.

CARING CARD MINISTRY

Interested in being crafty with a purpose? The Caring Card Ministry makes handmade cards to encourage and bless others. No experience necessary.

PIECEMAKERS (Quilting/Sewing Group)
When: Next Meeting – TBA

Join us for fellowship as we work on service projects for Unto, a ministry that expresses the kindness of Jesus through humanitarian aid – by relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope to people living in the toughest places on earth. To help support their mission, we will be working on quilt tops and LuoPads that will be given to the Unto Distribution Center. This is a drop-in activity, so come at whatever time works for you. Bring lunch if you can stay the entire time. Items you might bring: rotary cutter, cutting board, scissors, portable sewing machine, pins, gallon Ziploc bags.

TRAVELING TEA PARTY
The purpose of the Traveling Tea Party is to show our shut-ins, lonely members, or those unable to attend for a season, the love of God! Participants will receive training to learn more about this wonderful, easy ministry opportunity. You will bring joy to others as your own heart is blessed! Contact the Church Office (426.0814) for info on how you can be a part of this ministry.
