)
Where do you turn when the world around you grows dark? In this 12-week study of The Gospel of John, Dr. Tony Evans encourages us to turn to Christ by reminding us of the two purposes for the beloved disciple’s book—that we would believe in Jesus and find life in His name. This group primarily consists of parents of teens/young adults, but anyone is invited.

WOMEN’S GROUP: JESUS & WOMEN
When: Mondays, beginning January 24, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek 45440)

Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say,

“Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.”

Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.

Join teacher, speaker, and professor, Kristi McLelland, on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Together we will examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel our worship of Him today.

Chosen is an in-depth, seven-week study that walks verse by verse through the book of Ephesians. Covering many themes found throughout the book, the first half of the study focuses on who we are and our identity in Christ; and the second half looks at how we should live the Christian life in light of that identity. The study also covers the message of the gospel and the armor of God. For more information or to sign up, please email info@mountzionchurch.org.

CURRENT STUDY: THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES
In a world that is unsure of where to find truth or purpose, the book of Acts stands apart. It reveals God’s plan for global redemption, His purpose for our lives, and the power He has given us to accomplish His mission. Join Mt. Zion’s Adult Sunday School class for this eight-session video series as Pastor Louie Giglio walks us through the story of the early church. Acts may have been written two thousand years ago, but God is calling us to be a part of that story today.
