Where do you turn when the world around you grows dark? In this 12-week study of The Gospel of John, Dr. Tony Evans encourages us to turn to Christ by reminding us of the two purposes for the beloved disciple’s book—that we would believe in Jesus and find life in His name. This group primarily consists of parents of teens/young adults, but anyone is invited.
When: Mondays, beginning January 24, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Where: Joel’s Place (76 S. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek 45440)
Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say,
“Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.”
Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.
Join teacher, speaker, and professor, Kristi McLelland, on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Together we will examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel our worship of Him today.
When: Thursdays, 10:00 AM – NOON
Where: Mt. Zion Chapel

The study also covers the message of the gospel and the armor of God. For more information or to sign up, please email

In a world that is unsure of where to find truth or purpose, the book of Acts stands apart. It reveals God’s plan for global redemption, His purpose for our lives, and the power He has given us to accomplish His mission. Join Mt. Zion’s Adult Sunday School class for this eight-session video series as Pastor Louie Giglio walks us through the story of the early church. Acts may have been written two thousand years ago, but God is calling us to be a part of that story today.

When: Sunday, January 30

To help support their mission, we will be working on quilt tops and LuoPads that will be given to the Unto Distribution Center. This is a drop-in activity, so come at whatever time works for you. Bring lunch if you can stay the entire time. Items you might bring: rotary cutter, cutting board, scissors, portable sewing machine, pins, gallon Ziploc bags.
The purpose of the Traveling Tea Party is to show our shut-ins, lonely members, or those unable to attend for a season, the love of God!
