Find a place to SERVE.

Missio Dei is Latin for “the Mission of God”. At Mt. Zion, we passionately long to live out and share the wonderful, life-transforming power of our Lord Jesus. We see this as our mission. We believe God’s mission is to change lives, just like He’s changed ours!

More and more, we discover that our lives are about personal mission; a mission that gives us hope and purpose, and one that shapes every area of our lives. No, we’re not all there yet, but our hearts’ prayer is to share Jesus, grow disciples and serve others.

SLAYING THE GIANTS IN YOUR LIFE
When: Sundays, 10:10 AM – 10:50 AM
Where: Mt. Zion Chapel

Which giant is intimidating you? Perhaps it is fear or loneliness. Whichever giant is bullying you; the message of Slaying the Giants in Your Life is that God has the strength to bring you victory. You never walk alone and never have to live defeated.

Temptation, doubt, procrastination, and jealousy. These are daunting giants, but thankfully you have access to God’s Word, which is a wealth of knowledge, encouragement, and power. Join Mt. Zion’s Adult Sunday School class as we discover afresh the eternal unwavering promise of God to overcome those giants.

LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY: “ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING”
Mondays, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Mt. Zion

Do you feel weighted down with worry? Does the uncertainty and chaos of life keep you up at night? Are irrational fears your constant companion? Could you use some calm?

If so, join our Monday Evening Ladies’ Bible Study for this five-session video Bible study, where bestselling author Max Lucado will help us explore God’s treatment plan for anxiety found in Philippians 4:4–8.

As we follow this prescription – celebrating God’s goodness, asking for His help, leaving our concerns with Him, and meditation on good things – we will experience God’s peace. This is a peace that “transcends all understanding” and will help us reframe the way we look at our fears.

While anxiety is a part of life, it doesn’t have to dominate our lives. With God as our helper and His promises at our side, we can sleep better tonight and smile more tomorrow. We can talk ourselves off the ledge and view bad news through the lens of God’s sovereignty. We can discover a life of calm and develop tools for combating the onslaught of anxiety.
